The Garden Label & Sign Company is a division of Engraving Materials supplier 908 Ltd.

The Company's roots are firmly planted in the North East of England. Where they have been manufacturing and supplying their bespoke engraved Label and Signs since 2007. The business was started by Miss Beverley Garden, yes, that really is her name....and she remains very much in the business today.

All the engraved products are produced using the latest in laser technology which not only allows each and every job to be produced quickly and efficiently. But each to a very high standard. Production is a large part of the process. But, just as important is the need to maintain a detailed record of each and every job. So that when repeat orders are placed. Customers can be confident that there will be continuity in the layout and design.

Meet the team

Director
Beverley Garden
Meet Beverley, the Owner/Director of 908 Ltd. She started working as 908 Ltd, in 2007 from a premises in Blaydon Upon Tyne. Beverley has grown the company over the years, into what it is today. She can be mainly found in the office but often offers her skills in the cutting shop and the packing department. In her spare time, she loves to get away to relax. Her favourite spot being the Lake District. Or, anywhere that she can go for a Spa Day! She also spends her time with her loved ones and will never say no to some afternoon tea!
Laser Operator/Warehouse Manager
Shaun Thornton
Meet Shaun, our Laser Operator and Warehouse Manager. He has been with the company for around 18 months and has been a fantastic addition to 908 Ltd. A former CNC Machine operator, Shaun’s knowledge and enthusiasm for the role has helped to strengthen the service level we offer. When he’s not organising and despatching our daily orders, Shaun’s creative mind usually means he can be found back home building something new in the garden! Shaun spends his time with his family, whether that be in the garden enjoying the sun or out and about wherever the girls have dragged him! Shaun has a real passion for mountain biking, he loves getting out in the summer months and then coming back home to some ‘top bait’!
Sales Administrator
Sam Massey Allen
Meet Sam, our Sales Administrator. He has been with the company since August 2021, when he started as an apprentice. Sam has a can-do attitude and a professional approach to the role; you’d be forgiven for thinking he is older than his years, but he is very much the young’un in the office. Sam is football mad. In particular, he follows his beloved Newcastle United. He travels up and down the country to watch them. He also loves to travel to new countries and he has sampled a range of different cultures and climates in the time he has been with us, but even when he is abroad, he often manages to end up in a football stadium! If you ever lose Sam, you will probably be able to find him in a Nando’s!
