As a way of trying our very best to preserve the planet we have options available for gardeners to label up their plants/trees without causing any damage. For example, we stock an adjustable tree tie which gardeners can wrap around their trees and as the tree grows, the tie can be adjusted. We can also supply our labels with holes so that gardeners can tie the labels to their plants without causing any damage. There are many different ways you can secure your labels to your plants without damaging them such as attaching string or wire to the plants through the hole of the label. Another customer favourite is to engrave QR codes onto the labels, this is great for gardeners who may want to give information about their plants. The use of a QR code allows the information to be available at all times, without the need of constantly replacing paper information sheets which again, protects our planet and aligns with our sustainability aims.

Slate Garden Labels

We also supply slate garden labels. Slate is a natural product which can be easily recycled at the end of its life. There are no chemical emissions from engraving or cutting slate. This is the perfect option for anyone that is wanting to label their garden while remaining eco-friendly and of course, the added bonuses are how durable and eye-catching slate labels are! 

Another way we have prioritised our planet is by moving away from nails and opting to stock screws. This is because once a nail is hammered into the tree, it is often very difficult to remove. As the tree grows, the nail is pushed inside the tree. As a result of this, sawmills find nails in the wood when they are cutting it down. This is of course very dangerous so we opted to stock screws as often screws are much easier to remove from the tree either by hand or with a tool which will hopefully allow our customers to remove the screw from the tree, when necessary, with ease. We also remain eco-friendly with our wooden products; the wood is sourced from a supplier that only stocks hardwoods from fallen and inaccessible logs. In addition to this, when the wood that we use for our labels is manufactured, any waste is re-used to fuel our supplier’s biomass converter which heats their entire factory & offices!
